About Creatives In the Kingdom (Los Angeles)

Have you ever had a scenario working in entertainment where your Kingdom integrity and/or character was tested? No, just me?! Well Creatives in the Kingdom is an interest based community group meant to discuss various scenarios we face within the industry & to learn or be reminded of how to properly navigate these scenarios with wisdom & kingdom perspective. Though it may sound cliche, we're still CALLED to be (the Light) in the World, and not of it. Too much is at stake! So let's get honest in areas where we've compromised our call for the bag, or given up on the gift for status. With so many big shifts happening in all industries, Let's get & stay EQUIPPED for ours!

About the Leader

David Z’s hometown is Cleavland, Ohio but he has resided in Los Angeles, CA for the past ten years. His journey to ONE began in January 2013 and for a living, he is a host, Creative Producer and Philanthropist. 

He has a huge family consisting of 22 brothers & sisters and 40+ nieces and nephews, who are spread all across the US: Cleveland, Atlanta, Raleigh, Dallas, San Diego, Chicago are  the main hubs. He is closest to his sister Tauheedah as they are 1.5 years apart and often mistaken as twins. 

If he had to choose a character to best describe himself, he would choose Mike Epps’ character Day Day from Friday. David’s go to karaoke song would be Lenny Williams, “Cause I Love You,” and his favorite tv show the HBO The Wire. 

David would love to one day visit South Africa.
