About the Leader

Omolola Hassan’s hometown is Peachtree, Georgia but recently moved to Los Angeles in 2017.  Her journey to ONE began in 2018 and she describes it to be life-changing! She has had the pleasure of serving with the Connect One Ministry, Women of Worth Ministry, the Service Support team, the Prayer team, Community Groups and the Next Steps team.

For a living, Omolola works in Banking Regulation for a Federal Regulation Agency. She was raised by an amazing, purpose driven and God-fearing Nigerian mom and is the middle child of her two sisters who are also her best friends. They are proud to be first generation Nigerian Americans and her mom resides in Atlanta, GA, her older sister lives in Nashville and her younger sister in New Orleans.

If she had to choose a character from a tv show or movie to best describe herself, she would choose Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra. Her go-to karaoke song would be “How to Love” by Lil Wayne and her favorite tv show is “As Told by Ginger.” Omolola’s favorite vacation spot would be any crystal beach with blue water where she can snorkel and relax! She has enjoyed relaxing in the calm beaches of Grenada and desires to travel to the Maldives one day.
