--- title: "Sermon-based: NYC Group" description: "Sermon-based community group with spiritual maturity, belonging and support at the center. About the Leader Loiz Marie Arroyo was born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico but currently resides in Queens, NY. She has lived there for the past seven years and originally came to  New York to study a master's degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Her journey to ONE began around four years ago, and she describes it to be uplifting. Through the sermons, she has received teachings and confirmations which has helped her become a better person.  For a living, Loiz Marie works as a Communications and Digital Marketing Specialist & Graphics Manager. If she had to choose a character to best describe herself, she would choose Mulan or Merida from Disney. Whilst she may not be able to choose one karaoke song as she is a lover of music, her favorite tv show is Boy Meets World.  If Loiz Marie had to choose her favorite vacation spot, she would choose a small town or a nature getaway (especially if it has mountains)." --- # [[ group.name ]] **Location Type:** Virtual | Online **Frequency:** Weekly **Group Type:** Sermon **Target Audience:** **Neighborhood | Area:** **Time Zone:** EST **Day of the Week:** Tuesday **Time of Day:** Evening You are a member of this group.
