About Wellness: Hiking and Walking w/ Pastor Patrice (LA)

In this group you will get fresh air and exercise! We pray, warm up, stretch to Gospel music, and set our exercise goals before we hike. After we will cool down to gospel music, do a group devotional, end with prayer requests and praise reports.

About the Leader

Pastor Patrice Campbell was born in San Antonio, Texas but grew up in San Jose, California. She moved from San Jose to Palmdale, CA in 2014, but now resides in Los Angeles, California since 2019.  
 
Her first encounter with ONE was back in 2015 and since then, she has been in regular attendance. She previously served and participated in the W.O.W Ministry and has always desired to serve further within ONE.
 
One of the life-altering moments in Pastor Patrice’s life is when she had to care for her father who became ill. She commuted for a year to San Jose, CA; but was encouraged by her faith as her father rededicated his life to Christ and she was able to be a part of his physical, mental, and spiritual journey. She gives great honor to Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts and Pastor Touré Roberts in this season of her life as their leadership inspired her to continue to serve God in this time. Pastor Patrice serves as a minister of the gospel and has raised two beautiful children. 
 
If she had to choose to be a character in a tv show or movie to best describe herself, she would choose Aibleen Clark (Viola Davis’ character) from The Help. Her character showed great love to serve others and she cared and loved children, as well as her faith outweighing her fear. Her favorite tv show is Family Feud due to the time she watched it with her father as his care-giver.
 
Pastor Patrice’s favorite vacation spot is Kauai in Hawaii because a two-week vacation, turned into her moving there for seven years. She describes the island as beautiful and loves the people.
